2000
Randy Neal played in just
one game with the Cobras after being awarded off waivers from Tampa Bay
on May 18. He was signed off of the refused to report list on May
31, but was not activated until June 16 against New England. In that
game, Neal rushed four times for –1 yards, fumbling once, and caught a
pass for 14 yards. He was placed on injured reserve after the game,
and was not activated during the rest of the season.

Drafted by the New Orleans
Saints in 1994... Signed as a free agent with the Bengals after being released,
and spent 1995 and 1996 with Cincinnati... Left football until joining
NFL Europe's London Monarchs in 1998... Attended training camp with Cleveland
that fall, then moved on to San Francisco... Recorded a tackle in the 49ers'
45-10 win over Washington
College
Career
Played at Virginia from
1991-94... Was a Second Team All-ACC pick as a junior and an honorable
mention as a senior... Third in UVA history with 367 tackles, and his 248
career solo tackles are the most in school history... Second only two two
players in NCAA history with four interception returns for touchdowns...
Missed only one game in his career... Intercepted a career-high three passes
as a senior
