| AFL CANCELS SEASON |

| 2/25 - Late Thursday night, Arena Football League officials announced that they had canceled the 2000 season in light of the anti-trust suit against the league by the AFL Players' Association. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the league is giving itself a 48 hour window of opportunity to change its mind if a Teamsters group succeeds in forming a players' union, but it appears at this point that the Cobras' first season will not take place until 2001, if ever.
