Jackson, others join team in expansion draft
by Brian Distelberg, CobraZone
3/11 The Cobras selected Orlando OS Jack Jackson with their first pick, second overall, in the expansion draft.  The team focused, however, on their line, devoting five picks to offensive/defensive linemen.  They also selected four players from defending AFL champions Albany.  Finally, picks were traded to Houston and New England for FB/LB Hunter Adams, WR/LB Chris Ortiz, and FB/LB Alan Campos
Jackson joined the Predators late in 1999, playing in just four regular season games.  He still caught 15 passes for 251 yards and four touchdowns.  Jackson also had three touchdown catches in Orlando's ArenaBowl loss to Albany.
