Two UNC alums added to roster
by Brian Distelberg, CobraZone
3/18 The Cobras added two former UNC Tarheels to their roster Saturday, a day before opening training camp in Fayetteville.  In return for considerations traded to Albany during the expansion draft, Carolina received FB/LB Mike Dulaney (formerly Faulkerson), who has also played in the NFL.  In addition, the Cobras signed QB Mike Thomas, who has played minor league baseball since graduating from the Tarheels in 1995.  According to a team press release, Thomas enters camp as the second quarterback behind Jim Arellanes.  The Cobras will be holding two-a-day practices at both the Crown Coliseum and outdoors at the arena complex.  Practices are closed to the public, but there will be an intra-squad scrimmage next Saturday at 7:30.
