Was a four-year starter (1995-98) for Ohio University, primarily as a defensive lineman... Totaled 73 tackles, including 3 sacks and 8 for loss, plus 2 fumble recoveries... Had 2 sacks and 5 tackles for loss among a career-high 35 stops as a senior... Made 28 stops in 1997, his first season as a defensive lineman... Was used primarily as a blocker and special teams player his sophomore year, lining up as a tight end, though he did not catch a pass... Had played outside linebacker as a 1995 freshman...Was redshirted in 1994
