Played two seasons in the
NFL with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... Signed with the Bucs in 1995 but spent
the most of that season on the practice squad... Played in five games for
Tampa in 1996 and finished third on the squad in punt (13 for 95 yards)
and (12 for 264 yards) kickoff returns... Also had two receptions for 27
yards... Played for Barcelona of NFL Europe in 1996, leading the team in
kickoff and punt returns

Started every game at quarterback
during his final three seasons at South Carolina State... Finished with
187 completions for 3,257 yards and 37 touchdowns... Also rushed for 2,220
yards and 26 TDs on 380 carries... Named the MEAC Offensive Player of the
Year as a senior, and led to Bulldogs to a 10-2 record and a Heritage Bowl
victory over Grambling... As a senior, named team MVP, Heritage Bowl MVP
and Outstanding Player of the State of South Carolina... Was the only player
in MEAC history to rush and pass for 1,00 yards in a season
